Terminal A & B Reconfiguration & Renovation

Project Overview
While much focus about the development at SAT has been about Terminal C and the immediate impact it will have, there is a modernization program underway for the existing terminals.
Terminals A & B are undergoing a comprehensive reconfiguration and renovation to improve operational efficiency, and ensure a seamless passenger experience during and after the development of the new Terminal C.
Key upgrades and construction underway include:
- Renovated restrooms, expanded passenger gate hold seating areas, and more concessions across existing Terminals A & B
- A new post-security connector to allow uninterrupted access between terminals without re-entering security
- Modernization of ticketing and baggage areas to improve passenger flow and operational efficiency
These efforts are currently underway, with work expected to begin in Q2 2026 and continue through Q4 2030.
