Mission Road Sidewalk Connectivity Project

The improvements for this project enhanced the travel experience for pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists. The construction of sidewalks from the intersection of S.E. Military Drive to 99th Street just north of Runway 14 at Stinson Municipal Airport and installation of candy cane lighting and brick pavers that distinguish and are characteristic of the World Heritage Trail.

SSF Hike and Bike Trail

Begin your Adventure here

Located along the San Antonio Missions parkway in the state’s only UNESCO World Heritage site district, Stinson Municipal Airport now features a Hike & Bike Trail that connects to Mission Reach.

The Hike & Bike Trail is not a loop. It is an out-and-back. Plan for the return trip. Take on the whole trail or just do one segment, from one mission to the next.

Take a look at the Mission Reach Riverwalk Map before you begin your adventure! Find water, restrooms, trail access, viewpoints and more.
